Inside Sales Representative (Bilingual French/English)

The Inside Sales Representative is the in-house sales point of contact for service contracts as well as opportunities < $10,000.00, pre-sales hardware questions, upgrade pathways for aged equipment within the whole territory of Canada. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for increasing the quality and quantity of qualified leads for the Account Executives; resulting in a stronger pipeline and increased revenue by fostering prospects, building trust and rapport that leads to opportunity.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Engage with customers and partners on sales calls to increase revenue generating opportunities within assigned accounts

· Generate revenue by soliciting, identifying, and qualifying opportunities, understanding and interpreting requirements, providing customers with PFU/RICOH information, developing accounts, and partnering with PFU’s key channel partners

· Creating a territory plan within the first 90 days

· Responsible for prospecting hardware and net new service opportunities to drive revenue through the channel and achieve assigned quotas

· Manage outbound/inbound calls

· Leverage telephone, email, virtual meetings and other available resources to increase awareness and further develop leads/opportunities

· Engage with customers & channel partners on a daily basis to maintain an active sales pipeline in pursuit of revenue growth

· Independent ownership of the accounts as assigned in addition to shared accounts with Account Managers

· Support the Account Managers and assigned accounts

· Pursue leads to build sales pipeline

· Manage accounts using customer relationship management system (Saleforce.com)

· Provide partners with configuration support, part number selection, quotes and pricing requests in a timely manner

· Prepare and deliver regular forecasts on sales activities, pipeline, and expected deal closures

· Drive joint selling activities with reseller partners and promote Sales Engineering as a pre-sales support resource to the resellers’ customers

· Proactive engagement with partners’ sales teams

· Maintain our CRM database in regards to current deals, track account activity and provide accurate forecasts to management

· Consistently support and share best practices within ISR team to ensure business continuity

· Collaborate with account managers to facilitate relationships with channel partners and achieve territory goals

· Strategize with business development, Channel group/team and marketing team to generate new business prospects

· Collaborate during team calls to establish weekly plans, develop and execute regional business plans to achieve established sales metrics

· Join tradeshows and in person events, representing the PFU/RICOH brand and capturing new leads

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: May receive objectives, assignments, guidelines and special projects at the request of manager and/or head of the department.

REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS: Interacts with employees on a one-to-one basis maintaining professional and productive relationships, including those business relationships with external vendors, contractors and guests of the organization.
