Marketing Manager, Demand Generation

Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager, Demand Generation is responsible for U.S.-specific corporate and product integrated marketing campaign strategies and plans for Fujitsu Computer Products of America (FCPA) but also will be required to partner with other regional marketing teams. The scope of responsibilities includes advertising and campaign strategic planning, campaign creative, media planning, content strategy, channel kit development, cross collaboration worldwide and within FCPA, and metrics reporting. The Marketing Manager, Demand Generation will collaborate closely with a core team of Product Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product Management, Support and overseas counterparts in Japan, EMEA and Asia Pac to drive the campaign strategy, design/model and marketing programs and tactics to support company goals. This role will also work closely with other FCPA Marketing leads including Corporate Communications, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing and Marketing Operations and Analytics to ensure alignment around our strategy. In addition, they will be responsible for managing FCPA branding and campaign creative agencies.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Integrated Strategic Marketing Planning: Lead the development of solutions and product integrated marketing strategic plans and program. Define goals, track and measure KPIs, develop and execute integrated marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Content Strategy: Understand target personas; track inventory of assets and map content strategy by persona at various stages of marketing customer lifecycle; and identify gaps in asset inventory that may be required to engage target audience. Work with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Channel Marketing to develop content assets and programs.
  • Campaign Planning: Build ready-to-execute campaigns (advertising, digital, social, syndication, event), in collaboration with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales and FCPA Marketing leads, aligned with agreed upon campaign themes or sales/use cases. Kits include assets such as: messaging, target personas, recommended tactics, compelling call-to-action assets, and promotional content.
  • Integrated Marketing Alignment: Work with key stakeholders on the Marketing team (Corporate Communications, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing and Marketing Operations and Analytics) as well as overseas counterparts in Japan, EMEA and Asia Pac to align marketing strategies and campaign plans. Ensure all campaigns are available and communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Integrated Marketing Best Practices: Establish necessary integrated marketing and campaign planning, strategy and execution best practices and sharing among all key stakeholder teams.
  • Budget Forecasting and Tracking: Responsible for integrated marketing campaign budget forecasting and budget management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10-15 years integrated marketing experience with at least 5 years in technology marketing; campaigns and/or channel and partner marketing background helpful.
  • Experience with managing 1-2 direct reports
  • Experience managing projects across teams; team player
  • Must have solid understanding of market segmentation; strategy, planning and execution of modern marketing activities, especially content strategy and digital campaigns
  • Ability to rapidly learn, internalize and leverage product information
  • Agile and ability to deal in a fast paced environment
  • Very strong organizational and written/verbal communication and influencing skills; must be able to prepare presentations and be comfortable speaking to groups; must be comfortable dealing with sales/executive management; must be able to massage content to suite specific and targeting programs, customers
  • Must be familiar with or able to quickly learn a variety of business application systems, including but not limited to: Hubspot, SFDC, Tableau and marketing automation
  • Hands on Hubspot experience a bonus
  • Bachelorís degree in business, marketing or related field.
