Technical Document Analyst - Contract

Department: PAI - IT Business Application
Location: Sunnyvale , CA

The role of the Technical Document Analyst is responsible for organizing, filing, preserving and/or disposing of important company documents, in accordance with company policy.

3-4 month Contract Role

Primary responsibilities

  • Organize and sort stored company documents
  • Filing outdated documents for offsite storage with third party vendor
  • Create forms documenting assignment and disposal approvals
  • Deliberate about existing documents with appropriate staff members as need
  • Maintain proper records of annualized disposal actions
  • Provide backup copies of documents if needed
  • Make proper staff aware of any compliance issues
  • Perform evaluations and document audits
  • Ensure that all documents have no errors in file names or submissions
  • Effectively follow the company’s standard operating procedures in submissions of documents

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Needs effective communication and the ability to articulate with multiple department heads when/if necessary
  • Self-starter with good time management skills
  • Ability to quickly comprehend and apply company policies related to document retention
  • Keen sense of attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 40 lb boxes
  • Proficient in MS Office
